Patricia S. Stoner, CPA

Working with small businesses is a thrill for me – I enjoy helping them find solutions to every day issues like QuickBooks as well as larger issues like tax strategies and planning. Working with us lets you improve profits and focus on what you enjoy about your business.

Patricia received her B.S. degree from Missouri State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. At The Whitlock Company, she provides accounting services, tax planning and preparation and consulting to small business clients. She recently merged her CPA practice with The Whitlock Company after twenty years as a sole practitioner in Springfield. Before opening her own business, Patricia worked for a small local CPA firm and a regional CPA firm.

She is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs, the American Society of Women Accountants and an active member of the Springfield community. Patricia is a graduate of Leadership Springfield Class V and served as president of the executive council for the Alumni Association. She was also instrumental in establishing the Leadership Springfield Academy program for area high school students. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the History Museum for Springfield/Greene County, and is past president and now current treasurer of the organization. Patricia was the first female chairperson of the finance committee at Schweitzer United Methodist Church. She served for ten years on the finance committee including the stewardship campaign chairperson for two years. She served as a director and treasurer of Ronald McDonald’s Children’s Charities, and as director when the organization merged with Ronald House Charities of the Ozarks. She has also volunteered for American Diabetes Association, United Way and Muscular Dystrophy Association.
