Barney Whitlock has more than 40 years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis on family business planning and estate and tax planning. He is one of the firm’s founding partners and served as managing partner in the 1980s.

He does financial planning for his clients, and he is in charge of tax services for firm clients in a variety of industries including retail distribution, public warehousing, financial institutions, manufacturing, cable television, real estate, and medical practices.

Barney’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

His professional and civic activities include membership in the American Institute of CPAs, Missouri Society of CPAs (past president of the Southwest Chapter), Missouri Sports Hall of Fame (secretary and Board of Directors), University of Missouri Alumni Association (National Governing Board of Directors, chair of the Legislative Information Network Committee, Board member of the Flagship Council and past president of the local chapter), Hickory Hills Country Club (past president of Board of Directors).
