Leadership Springfield announces Joe Page as 2017 Kenworthy Recipient

joe-page-color-head-shotWe are proud to announce this year’s Leadership Springfield Kenworthy Award recipient is Joe Page, The Whitlock Company’s Managing Partner.

Joe has been a leader in the community for a wide range of organizations. He has a passion for impacting children, faith, community leadership, economic development and the accounting profession. He has been active in Leadership Springfield, graduating with Class 13 and serving on the Board of Directors including as Treasurer. He has also served as Treasurer for Southeast Rotary Club, the Urban Districts Alliance, the Springfield Jaycees, and the Springfield Catholic Schools Finance Committee. He is the current President for Isabel’s House, Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks.

Joe was unanimously recommended as this year’s recipient by the selection committee. While there were many very deserving nominees, the committee always came back to the selection criteria: current member and commitment to Leadership Springfield; involvement in community service activities; good citizenship; outstanding leadership qualities; high moral and ethical standards.

The award was established in 1989 in memory of Franklin Kenworthy, a posthumous graduate of Signature Class 3. Recipients must demonstrate a commitment to Leadership Springfield; involvement in community service activities; good citizenship; outstanding leadership qualities; and high moral and ethical standards.
